Dog Boarding

Stress can be a big burden on your pet if placed in the wrong environment while you are away. It can lead to decreased appetite, destructive behavior, as well as digestive and intestinal problems. Most of this is caused by a lack of attention, erratic schedule, impersonalized care, or small or dirty living quarters for your animals. We have done everything in our power to combat all of these issues. We purposefully designed a small facility (only 20 runs total) so that we could give your animals the personalized care and attention that they need during their stay. All of the kennels and play areas are indoors in a climate controlled area with spacious ceilings that extend up to 20’ in height.

While your pet stays with us, they will NEVER be boarded in a cage overnight. They all receive spacious runs dictated by their size and your desire. All runs are elevated off of the concrete floor and contain a rest bench, and built in food and water dishes. Our kennel fronts are tempered glass so that your dog can see out freely, and not feel like they have been sent to doggy prison and locked behind bars. Each kennel comes with a pillow to sleep on, but we do allow you to bring
any bedding or toys from home that you feel might make them more comfortable during their stay. (We ask that all bedding and toys be clean and that they do not pose any potential hazard to your animal)

We keep your animals on a very regimented schedule while they stay with us. This helps them maintain a reduced stress level while they are in our care. Their daily schedule looks something like this:

7:00am to 7:30am – Rise and shine! Potty time
7:30am to 8:00am – Breakfast time
9:00am to 5:00pm – Group Play Time
5:00pm – Kong® Time
8:00pm to 8:30pm – Potty time and lights out

Your pet gets to go outside to potty at least five times during the day. We take them out on leashes to our 40’x60’ enclosure that is surrounded by 6’ tall fencing all the way
around. They normally go out to potty at: 7:00am, 9:00am, 1:00pm, 5:00pm, and at 8:00pm. They also get eight hours of group play time everyday! We temperament test all the dogs to make sure that they will play well with each other, and then divide them into play groups for them to play and have fun. At the end of their playtime, they go back into their kennels forKong® Time. This is where they receive a Kong® Chew toy with a treat to help them unwind after a long day of play.

Their feeding times are at 7:30am and 5:30 pm, however, we will accommodate their normal feeding schedule from home to help them stay on the same schedule. We serve Diamond® Lamb & Rice Formula, but we have a full service kitchen and can therefore meet any of your dogs’ dietary needs. (If your dog is on a restricted diet, or has a sensitive stomach, we would encourage you to bring their food from home for their stay) Having the kitchen also allows us to make all natural, homemade treats on site for your dogs. There’s nothing better than a fresh, healthy treat!
